How does the Image Resizer & Cropper work?

Does resizing reduce image quality?
You control the output quality with a slider (10–100%). Higher quality means larger file size. The tool also lets you choose JPEG, PNG, or WebP format. All processing uses the canvas `toBlob` API for optimal encoding.
What are the preset sizes available?
12 presets including Twitter Header (1500×500), Instagram Post (1080×1080), YouTube Thumbnail (1280×720), Facebook Cover (820×312), LinkedIn Banner (1584×396), HD 16:9 (1920×1080), Square 1:1 (1080×1080), and more.
How does the crop feature work?
Enable crop mode to show a draggable overlay on the original image. Drag to reposition and use corner handles to resize — the aspect ratio is locked to your selected preset or custom dimensions. The crop area is applied when you download.
What image formats are supported?
Upload any browser-supported format: PNG, JPG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, BMP, SVG. Output can be downloaded as JPEG (no transparency), PNG (lossless with alpha), or WebP (modern compression with alpha).
Is my image data private?
Yes. The Canvas API decodes and resamples your image entirely on your device. The resulting blob is generated in-browser and never transmitted. No server-side processing, no storage, no tracking.
