How do I use the scientific calculator?
Click buttons or use your keyboard. Type digits with number keys, operators with + - * /, and press Enter for equals. Use trig functions (sin, cos, tan) in DEG or RAD mode. Memory buttons (MC, MR, M+, M−, MS) store and recall values.
What is the difference between DEG and RAD mode?
DEG (degrees) mode interprets trig function inputs in degrees (360° circle). RAD (radians) uses radians (2π circle). Toggle with the DEG/RAD button. Default is DEG.
How do I use inverse trig functions?
Use sin⁻¹, cos⁻¹, tan⁻¹ buttons directly. They calculate arcsin, arccos, arctan. In DEG mode results are in degrees; in RAD mode in radians.
What scientific constants are available?
c (speed of light: 299,792,458 m/s), h (Planck: 6.626×10⁻³⁴ J·s), G (gravitational: 6.674×10⁻¹¹ N·m²/kg²), g (gravity: 9.80665 m/s²), atm (standard atmosphere: 101,325 Pa), R (gas constant: 8.314 J/mol·K), k (Boltzmann: 1.381×10⁻²³ J/K), Nₐ (Avogadro: 6.022×10²³ mol⁻¹), mₑ (electron mass), mₚ (proton mass). How does calculation history work?
Every time you press =, the calculation is saved to a history list. Click 'History (N)' to expand the panel showing past calculations. Click any history entry to recall its result into the display. Up to 50 entries stored.
How do I solve quadratic equations?
Switch to the Solver tab and select Quadratic mode. Enter coefficients a, b, c for ax² + bx + c = 0. The solver shows the discriminant, step-by-step solution, and the two roots (real or complex).
How do I solve linear equations?
Switch to the Solver tab and select Linear mode. Enter coefficients a, b for ax + b = 0. The solver shows step-by-step solution for x = −b/a. Handles special cases (infinite/no solutions).
How does the graph plotter work?
Switch to the Graph tab. Enter a function like sin(x), x^2, or 2*x+3 and click Plot. Multiple functions can be added with different colors. Drag to pan, scroll to zoom, hover to trace coordinates. Double-click to auto-fit the view.
What scientific functions are available?
