Is my data saved between sessions?

Data is stored locally in your browser using localStorage. Clearing your browser data will remove it. In Time Tracker, entries stay in this browser only.

Can I lose my data?

Since data is stored locally, clearing browser data or using a different device will not carry over your information. In Time Tracker, entries stay in this browser only.

Does this work offline?

Yes. Once loaded, timers, sessions and billable totals persist in localStorage fully offline. Track hours anywhere; export later.

Is my data private?

Absolutely. Everything stays in your browser. No data is sent to any server or third party. In Time Tracker, entries stay in this browser only.

How do I track time?

Enter a task name, set your hourly rate, and click Start. The timer runs live. Click Stop to log the session. You can also add entries manually using the Add Entry form.

Can I add entries without using the timer?

Yes, use the date, task, duration, and rate fields to add entries directly to the log. Duration is in hours (e.g. 2.5 for 2h30m).

Is my data saved between visits?

Yes, all entries are saved in your browser's local storage. They persist until you clear browser data or click Clear All.

Can I export my timesheet?

Yes, click Export CSV to download your entire log as a CSV file compatible with Excel, Google Sheets, and payroll software.

How to Use

Set Task and Rate

Enter a task name and your hourly rate. The rate auto-applies to new entries.

Track Time

Click Start to begin timing. Click Stop to save the session to your log.

Export

Review all entries with totals, then click Export CSV for your timesheet.

How to Calculate

Sessions sum to daily and weekly totals with billable amount = hours x rate. Pomodoro blocks and CSV export turn raw logs into invoices and timesheets.
